We're often looking for like-minded people that are as stoked as we are, to call Lofoten our home and want to be part of creating something special here at FURU.

If you love life, the outdoors, are enthusiastic about learning new skills and have no problem getting your hands dirty, please write to us. We are looking for positive people that are energetic, smiling and excited to whatever comes your way.

We believe that attitude is everything and skills can be learned. No matter your background, we are happy to hear from you! Before you write us an email though, please check the list below for our current openings. If there are no postings below, we got our crew together for the season and we won't be able to read your application. We will however keep this page updated with new job postings and feel free to contact us again when you see a job that is of your interest.

We don't have staff housing at this moment, but we are always supporting your housing search. However, we got a few Van spots for our staff for the days you work at FURU.

Content Creator  //  from 2 weeks to 2 month

We are always looking for talented content creator that want to stay for us for a while and document our way of living here on the islands and at FURU. This role is unpaid but accommodation and food is provided. Get in contact with us at least a a couple months in advance to plan a project together.

Summer 2025: 

We finished screening all applications and found most of our team. If you don't hear from us by end of March, we are super sorry to not have included you in this season's round but rest assure we appreciate your time and energy you spent on your application and please do send us a message again next time. 

Head Chef // Mid May - Beginning September

We are looking for a head chef that will be responsible for our dinner service this summer. Our menu is filled with pescetarian, vegetarian and since last summer also meat dishes. If you are excited to cook and continue developing our current dinner menu, want to be responsible for our small kitchen team and have a great time in Lofoten this summer, please send us your application. Experience in small restaurants and cafés where you were the head chef is appreciated. A Scandinavian language or intermediate English is a must.
